How to remove Unity in Ubuntu 11.04

It seems to be "counter-current" because Unity is the default interface in Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal, but many users do not like and are interested in continuing to use the classic desktop Gnome or other alternatives such as: Unity-2D or Gnome Shell (who also will see soon).

You always have the option on the home screen, disable the interface of Unity and restart with the classic desktop to receive focus so check down the option that says "Ubuntu classic" ,But if you're still upset and want to eliminate it entirely can do the following:

Open software center in Ubuntu and in the text box looking for the keyword "Unity" ,Now select that entry and press the button "Delete" ,In case you want to completely eliminate Unity, also have to eliminate all those other related packages that appear in the list to make that search.

In case you want to use Unity-2D, Especially if your computer has limited resources, you can run:
sudo apt-get install unity-2d
