Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 should repeat the look of the previous generation and maintain keyboard support with the official branded trackpad
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 appeared in new images. According to Evan Blass, the tablet will look similar to the predecessor Galaxy Tab S6 and will have support for the official Samsung keyboard and the S Pen. The gadget is expected to be officially announced by the South Korean brand in August 2020.
The images are close to the rumors presented in June. As with the renderings previously revealed, the tablet has straight sides, similar to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 and the Apple iPad Pro (2020). In addition, the device must maintain the thin edges around the 11-inch screen.
Support for the Samsung keyboard and trackpad cover is another feature that can be maintained across generations. According to Evan Blass (@evleaks) on Monday (13), the Galaxy Tab S7 will have magnetic inserts on the side to connect to the brand's peripheral, which turns the tablet into a kind of notebook.
The expectation is that the tablet will be announced by Samsung with an advanced technical sheet. Possible device specifications include the newly announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus processor, 6 GB or 8 GB RAM, 128 GB or 256 GB storage, and 7,760 mAh battery.
Regarding the cameras, two sensors are expected on the rear, 13, and 5 megapixels, in addition to an 8 MP front camera for selfies and voice and video calls. The tablet is yet to reach the public with Android 10 from the factory (One UI 2.5) and digital reader under the screen.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is due to be presented on August 5, during the Galaxy Unpacked 2020, Samsung's virtual event announced last Wednesday (8), along with the Plus version of the new tablet and the Galaxy Note 20.
