Install Flash Player 10.2 on Ubuntu

Not long ago it was announced that Adobe no longer continue with development of Flash Player for Linux. But a few days ago launched a preview of Flash Player 10.2 for most common platforms like Windows, Linux, Mac

They themselves say it is not final version but it is stable and usable. Besides being a faster version than previous 10.1.

To install Flash in Ubuntu follow a few steps, typing following at console:
  • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:sevenmachines/flash
  • sudo apt-get update
  • sudo apt-get install flashplugin64-installer
