Often the webcams installed on your laptop are not the best as video resolution. For this, you could use your smartphone as a webcam on your PC while using Zoom or Skype.

Now we will explain how to set the camera of your Android smartphone as a webcam on your Windows computer.

To use your Android device's camera as a webcam, you will need to download both a PC program and an app to your mobile device. Both the computer and the Android device must be connected to the same WiFi network.

So let's start downloading and installing DroidCam on Windows and DroidCam from PlayStore.

Once done open DroidCam on Windows. Click the Wi-Fi button at the top. Here you will see the option to enter the device IP.

So open DroidCam on your Android device and copy the address to WiFi IP.

So type it in the DroidCam window on Windows. Also, check the Video and Audio items.

By default, the phone's rear camera is selected. To switch to the front camera, touch the three-dot menu in the phone app. Select Settings> Camera, then select Front from the list of options.
