Updating Ubuntu from 10.10 to 11.04

Well my friends, the day has arrived. Today comes the new version of Ubuntu ,The 11.04, codenamed Natty Narwhal. You can download the image of CD from Official site, but if Ubuntu 10.10 you can make the process easier.

On the desktop type the key combination ALT+F2. A window to run an application. Write it

update-manager -d

And this will run the Update Manager, which will see a new option:

Now select the Upgrade option. I asked to read the documentation for the version of Ubuntu coming out and asks if you want to perform the upgrade. If you agree, start downloading and installing. Be patient, it will take a little.

Once done, reboot, and poof! Ubuntu Natty Narwhal Installed:
