With all the fury of the departure of our beloved browser that is already in version 4 I have here a PPA in order to install comfortably in Ubuntu 10.10.
First open the software center of ubuntu, go to menu 'Edit' then 'Software Sources'
Press the 'Add' button and we will get a window where you add the following line:

ppa:mozillateam/firefox-stable
And added back to the Software Center in the menu 'Get Software' available find a submenu called 'Firefox Stable Channel Package' is where we find the new version to install:
