Banshee is the default player for the next version of Ubuntu, which will available from the first quarter of next year, Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal (Narval Elegant).

support UPNP, easy codec installation, integration with the system sound and sync with the virtual store of Ubuntu (Ubuntu One Music Store) are some of the issues to be addressed.
