Transmission, the client for bittorrent network that is installed by default in Ubuntu has reached version 2.0 with many new features that you can read here we highlight the changes for all versions, remember that it is a multiplatform application.

If you want to update in Ubuntu 4.10 you can do this by adding a PPA repository
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/linuxfreedomlucid
and then upgrade
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/linuxfreedomlucid
and then upgrade
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade
