The GNOME Project has released the GNOME 3.32 beta 2
GNOME 3.32 beta 2 arrives two weeks after beta 1 to allow early adopters to find as many bugs as possible before the Release Candidate (which will arrive on March 6) and the final release, scheduled for March 13th. From now on the code is in String Freeze : new features will not be added, but we will focus only on bug fixing .

GNOME 3.32: the news
GNOME 3.32 will have many new features and improvements and will be supported for the next six months through two point releases: the first, GNOME 3.32.1, will arrive on 10 April 2019.
I have kept you constantly updated on the news that we will find on board, let's make a brief summary.

A new version of the Adwaita theme is coming soon and a new app for screencast over Wi-Fi (called Screencaster ). That's not all: users will have more control over the installed applications.

There will be a new ' Applications ' panel in order to offer more control over the apps you have decided to install on your system (including flatpak apps, repo apps, etc).

The developers then worked on other aspects of GNOME improving the look, usability and layout of other key DE panels. For example, the Sound panel now uses a vertical layout and sorts the options more logically. The Display panel has also been revisited: the widgets are smaller and in line with those of the other panels.

An important performance improvement is expected with regard to Gnome Shell and Mutter after an extensive review of the source code.

As for this beta 2 you will find the complete changelog here.
