Canonical has released at this time the second and final beta of Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin LTS, version brings many updatesand fixes from the previous beta.
Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin LTS Beta 2 upgrade to Unity version 5.8, which brings some improvements including greater stability,
the improvement of theme colors, especially those relating to notifications (now the "bubble" is transparent and the color associated
with the theme) and the new function chameleon intones the buttons on the launcher to the background color, and added a new
warning in the dash when the word entered is not in the database.
Together with the 3D version also comes Unity 2D 5.8, Which adds the function buttons on the launcher and the chameleon in the
notification bubble, corrects and enhances the initiation of the Dash and dedicated colors.
The new Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin LTS Beta 2 improves screen management, Adding a new feature to display the Launcher only
the primary monitor, or on each screen, there is also a new button to enable or disable the sticky edges, introducing the possibility to
display the Launcher only for the primary screen or a Launcher for each screen , and the ability to enable/disable the edges (Sticky Edge).
The Ubuntu One client brings a new default QT interface, with better integration with any desktop environment. Added new Quicklist to facilitate certain transactions Empathy, Rhythmbox, Gedit, Remmina and Totem, Also is integrated support for uTouch for Chromium.
Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin LTS Beta 2 also adds new Management Service, Which will allow us to install with a click Landscape Client, the service branded Canonical to monitor your Ubuntu system.
Among other developments available on Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin LTS Beta 2 find the Linux kernel updated to version 3.2.0-20.33, Firefox updated to version 11 and LibreOffice to version 3.5.1.
