Are you ready to try Unity 5.2 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

Canonical announced on 1 February the Unity interface 5.2 is available for testing on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS platform (Precise Pangolin).

Unity 5.2 includes support for multiple monitors (Unity pitchers appear on each monitor, and move from one monitor to another, you will feel some resistance to letting you use the launcher in the display).

Likewise, also has implemented a new detection of the edges of the screen, forcing users push or scroll in the left part of the screen so that the pitcher emerge. Thus, the released and will not emerge when you hit the back button in Firefox.

Installation is very simple, press the key combination CTRL+ALT+T on your keyboard and paste the following command in the terminal window (one by one, pressing Enter after each one):
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:unity-team/ppa
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
Restart your session when you finish the upgrade process. Please note that does not support HUD, so you need to remove the HUD PPA of your system with ppa-purge before upgrading. Have a good session testing!
