In this article we will see how to speed up Firefox without using external programs only going to change the configuration settings through the command "about:config". Here's the step by step guide how to speed up Firefox: We enter the configuration settings of Mozilla Firefox ,Open Firefox and type about:config in the address bar:

try the items listed below and change their value as suggested (to find the items you can use the filter bar): network.http.pipelining and double-click to change it true (The default is false)
network.http.proxy.pipelining set the value to true (The default is false)
network.http.pipelining.maxrequests and set the value to 16 (The default is 4)
network.dns.disableIPv6 and set the value to true (The default is false)
below we will add new variables to Firefox to speed it: we click the right mouse button on an empty part of the screen about:config and select New> Integer and insert as the name content.notify.interval and how to insert value "50000"
Let's make it again click the right button to add another variable of type integer and insert as the name nglayout.initialpaint.delay and how to insert value "0"
Let's make it again click the right button to add another variable, but this time we do New> Boolean and enter name content.notify.ontimer and how to insert value true
and that's all, restart Firefox for changes to take effect!
