Well you know that came out a long time firefox 5, but not really new sftware posting until I see that this very stable.
So as I leave they must do to install Firefox 5 in our beloved chameleon :
First add the repository of Firefox to our list of repositories, now I will do so via terminal:
Open a terminal (with alt+F2 if GNOME gnome-terminal, if KDE konsole) and add this line via zypper:

If you are using another version of openSUSE may change where it says openSUSE_11.4 by.

After we got out of the package repository:
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/mozilla/openSUSE_11.4/i586/MozillaFirefox-5.0-5.1.i586.rpm
Now from your terminal go to the folder where the file and run under.
/loquesea/Downloads># zypper in MozillaFirefox-5.0-5.1.i586.rpm
packages were updated, tell them to change their software provider, you select option 1:

After a while Mozilla Firefox 5 will have in our beloved chameleon.
Firefox on openSUSE 11.4
not use YaST to update your version of Firefox, there is a problem with the repository that lets you update from there, once you install Firefox 5, and then you can update all the packages from YaST
