Mark Shuttleworth announced Official name for Ubuntu 11.10, which will be called 'Oneiric Ocelot' -Nearly matches the rumors-. The literal translation of that name would be "Ocelot dream" and how that name always follows the rule of going on a progression of the alphabet that are happening in every version.
Now it was the "O" that follows Natty Narwhal, And that name seems to want to emphasize certain goals to be achieved. As Shuttleworth himself said,
Dreaming means" dreamer "and the combination with the Ocelot reminds me of the way in which innovation occurs: part daydreaming, and some discipline. Is expected to be offered such complete experiences both in the case of the 3D experience with OpenGL as a 2D experience ,And also see the integration of Qt on Ubuntu and may even see some of them pre-installed and running natively.
