Google released the source code of Android 2.3 Gingerbread

As promised Mountain View company in the official launch Nexus S, Google has released the source of Android 2.3 Friday.

The Open Source Project allows developers to modify the Base operating system but also enables companies to develop products without the need for approval of applications by Google's Android Market stores can use alternatives.

All features found in the source code are the same as the integrated version Nexus S, And already we detail by official announcement of the Android 2.3 SDK. Funny how the release of source code comes after Nexus S rooteo becoming clear that the scene goes a step ahead.

As is usual in open-source projects, users can modify the code as much as they want and some cases could be made to the major version, which Google maintains full control.
