Tiling windows in Ubuntu 10.04

As we saw windows are tiling windows managers that automatically fit windows occupying entire screen. In KDE 4.5 was very simple Gnome theme but we have to use one of several programs is to achieve this effect such as x-tile, xmonad and others.

This time we'll talk about Bluetile is based manager xmonad. It has feature that you do not have to log in again but simply run Bluetile within session in which you are so that you can use.

Install it usually is not easy but thanks to guys now have a repository webudp8 to install simply by typing following commands in console:
  • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nilarimogard/webupd8
  • sudo apt-get update
  • sudo apt-get install bluetile
After installing simply have to do Alt+F2 and type "Bluetile" and you will have desktop When used with automatic organization and mosaic windows, so:

NOTE : this only works on Ubuntu Lucid
