Finally, we can regain the emblems also on the new Nautilus 3.x through an extension called Nautilus Emblems Menu Extension which contains this functional directly accessible from our menu.

and confirm. At the end restart our Nautilus typing in a terminal:
nautilus -q
and now from our context menu will have the opportunity to place the emblems in our files or folders.

Better manage PulseAudio on Ubuntu

Ubuntu and many other Linux distributions use PulseAudio for manage our audio devices. PulseAudio is a sound server realized as Alternative to ALSA (On which it rests) that allows us to reproduce the sound from multiple audio sources same time.
The default Ubuntu offers a simple Audio Manager accessible or SoundMenu or the list of applications and allows us some features such as volume level ,The choice of either audio device input and output, etc..
If we want a better management of PulseAudio we can use a simple utility called pavucontrol.

Pavucontrol (PulseAudio Volume Control) Is a simple based utily on GTK+ which enables us to more control of the audio server adding more volume controls and other useful features. Through pavucontrol we control the volume of hardware devices reproduced each stream separately.

It also allows you to redirect a flow of play to another output device without interrupting playback.

Pavucontrol is already present in repositories of Ubuntu, Debian and derivatives Just try to install it on our Software Center or from the terminal by typing:
sudo apt-get install pavucontrol
and confirm.
To start pavucontrol just look for an alternative from our menu, simply click on ALT+F2 and type:
and have the manager PulseAudio started.
