The Document Foundation announced LibreOffice 6.1.4 , fourth incremental update of the 6.1 series.

LibreOffice 6.1.4 comes a month and a half after version 6.1.3 and goes to fix a myriad of bugs found in various components of the suite, including Writer, Calc, Draw, Impress, Base and Math. However, according to the TDF, it remains a version for early adopters and so it will be until the LibreOffice 6.1 series is considered sufficiently mature (ie stable). 126 changes have been made, you can find them here and here.

"LibreOffice 6.1.4 represents the best we can offer in terms of functionality but is not optimized for implementations in production environments where stability and security come first" these are the words of Italo Vignoli in yesterday's announcement. "Users who want a more mature version can download LibreOffice 6.0.7, on which we have been working for months".

The development of LO 6.1 continues. LibreOffice 6.1.5 will arrive in February 2019 and should introduce another wave of bug-fixing in order to make this version as stable as possible. The last point release will be LibreOffice 6.1.6, waiting for 29 May 2019.

The Document Foundation is already working on the next major release: LibreOffice 6.2.
