How to Install Firefox on openSUSE 11.4

Well you know that came out a long time firefox 5, but not really new sftware posting until I see that this very stable.

So as I leave they must do to install Firefox 5 in our beloved chameleon :

First add the repository of Firefox to our list of repositories, now I will do so via terminal:

Open a terminal (with alt+F2 if GNOME gnome-terminal, if KDE konsole) and add this line via zypper:
su -

/loquesea># zypper ar Mozilla

/loquesea># zypper up
If you are using another version of openSUSE may change where it says openSUSE_11.4 by.

After we got out of the package repository:
Now from your terminal go to the folder where the file and run under.

packages were updated, tell them to change their software provider, you select option 1:
Change the vendor
After a while Mozilla Firefox 5 will have in our beloved chameleon.

Firefox on openSUSE 11.4

not use YaST to update your version of Firefox, there is a problem with the repository that lets you update from there, once you install Firefox 5, and then you can update all the packages from YaST
