On the way to its final version, KDE PIM 4.6 RC1

If techy few days ago we warned that the final version KDE PIM 4.6 will arrive in June ,This has arrived is the first release candidate.

As explained by one of its developers on his blog, KDE PIM 4.6 -Also known as Kontact2- has reached its first release candidate, which means that the path to the final version remains with the agreed time.

The first thing to note is that the new version of desktop productivity suite and tools that comprise and are usable, Are dotted with small errors, but pose no risk that the application operates or data loss.

It also warns that despite the progress, development, but mostly technology-no tools allow as complete as at present; it will take some time to reach that level of options and features, A path that only begin with the final release of the suite.

This is due in part to division of effort by developers, Some managers to complete the new version, others still working out the errors of the present, spreading a bit of discouragement in the ranks.

Remember that KDE PIM -Kontact call would not be entirely accurate, but is understandable, combines some of the most vital tools of the desktop production ,Such as KMail, KOrganizer, KNotes, and even Blogilo Akregator., So it's not something you can "play" and its release is just around the corner.
