How to Enable graphic acceleration on Chrome 10

This week has been published stable version of Chrome 10. This version allows the option to enable graphics acceleration, allowing the CPU is released from the work of rendering graphics such as images or videos, passing them to the GPU (Graphics processor card).

What should we do to enable this option? Just follow these steps:
  1. Key in about:flags in the address bar
  2. Enable the following options:
  • GPU Accelerated Compositing
  • GPU Accelerated Canvas 2D
And with that we would have enabled the graphics acceleration, as it allows Firefox 4.0
