Skype releases free internet access in Wi-Fi during weekend

The manager was crazy! No, this phrase was not uttered by folks at Skype, but might well have been. The company said it would offer free internet access in more than 200,000 Wi-Fi hotspots around world who are able to use Skype Access. So get ready to enjoy Internet for free during Saturday and Sunday.

To access free internet offered by Skype will need to have VoIP application installed on your computer - is for both Windows and Mac OS. From there, simply connect to any hotspot that is actually accepted by Internet access service Skype, Skype Access.

And therein lies clever bit: Vex has this support, ensuring that promotion of Skype will work in Brazil (at least that's what I hope). The full list of hotspot operators accepted here.
In announcing promotion, Skype makes it clear that free internet is valid from 00.00 on Saturday, 25 September until 23:59 on Sunday, 26 September, the GMT. Doing a quick conversion, ( official time GMT).
