Install Rapid Photo Downloader 0.3.2 in Ubuntu


Rapid Photo Downloader is an application that makes it easy to import pictures from our camera or any removable device to our album.

It was created by a professional photographer and runs on Linux systems.

Usage is very simple. It produces a scanning device, detecting images and displays them as thumbnails.



If you do not have it installed, you may do so at Lucid opening console and typing:

  • sudo add-apt-repository ppa:dlynch3/ppa
  • sudo apt-get update
  • sudo apt-get install rapid-photo-downloader
If you already have repository added and Rapid Photo Downloader installed to update only needs to be done:
  • sudo apt-get update
  • sudo apt-get upgrade
