Dell expands offer computers with Linux

After catching everyone by surprise and remove computers with Linux operating system's online store, Dell has backtracked again and created a new page with new equipment. Dell's online store in U.S. you can find several models with Ubuntu being sold as Inspiron Mini for $ 299.00.

Coincidentally, same model with Windows 7 Starter Edition can be found at same price, and other equipment such as notebooks and desktops.

In a statement, Anne Camden, Dell's public relations, said state of Linux on Dell's various shops in other countries: "Regarding situation in UK is actually very simple: we are working with variations according to regional demands. This means that we will not always have same offer in all regions, but rumors about death of Dell-Ubuntu marriage are exaggerated. "

Nothing yet on Dell online store to sell Brazilian products with Linux, but it could easily be solved by consumers: If problem is lack of demand, just Brazilian consumers begin to ask for Linux on Dell computers. With time and (some sort), maybe we can win this more.
